Game film in. Player stats your staff can trust out.

Vigil watches high school football film, charts every snap against your roster, and checks each credit against the film before it counts. Defense, offense and special teams, built to be ready the morning after the game.

The problem

Stats are the one thing film doesn't fix.

Coaches have hours of film and a roster full of players who need accurate numbers for recognition, recruiting and the next game plan. Charting it by hand is slow, and mistakes stick.

Stats come in late

Someone has to rewatch the whole game to chart it, so the numbers show up days later, if at all.

Stats come in wrong

A missed interception or a tackle credited to the wrong number follows a player all season.

Nobody can check them

A total with no play behind it can't be verified. When a number is questioned, there's no answer.

How it works

We watch the film, then you check the work.

Five steps from Friday night's film to a stat sheet you can stand behind. Vigil does the watching and charting; your staff keeps the final say on every play.

01

Film in

Game film from Hudl is split into plays, with every camera angle of each snap kept together.

02

Find the moment

Vigil finds the snap, the whistle and the play that decides the stat on every angle, so nothing is charted from a blurry frame.

03

Chart the play

Each play is charted against your roster: who made the tackle, who caught the ball, who drew the flag.

04

Add the coaches' tags

Down, distance and gain from your Hudl breakdown supply the yardage and the team totals.

05

Check the work

Every credit is reviewed against the film. A play counts only after a person approves it.

What we track

Every unit, every snap.

Counting stats come from the film. Yardage comes from your coaches' Hudl tags, so it matches the breakdown you already trust. Choose the stats that matter to your staff for each game.

Why trust it

Accuracy over speed, every time.

A wrong number is worse than a missing one. Vigil is built to say "check this play" rather than guess.

Reviewed, not guessed

If a jersey number can't be read, Vigil leaves the credit out and flags the play instead of guessing.

Cross-checked three ways

The film, your coaches' Hudl tags and the PA announcer's calls are compared. When they disagree, the play goes to review.

Every number has a play

Each total links back to the plays behind it and where to find them in the film.

Your data stays yours

Stats are visible only to the staff you invite. Nothing is written back into Hudl or shared.
