Vigil privacy notice

Updated October 27, 2026

This notice covers the Vigil website and private coaching workspace at try-vigil.net, operated by Eliot Chamberlain.

Google sign-in

When you choose Continue with Google, Google supplies your account identifier, email address, and basic profile information, which can include your name and profile picture. Supabase stores this information to authenticate your account. Vigil uses your email to check the invited staff list and displays it in your signed-in workspace.

Vigil requests only basic identity access. It does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts, or calendar. Google sign-in information is used for authentication and account access, not advertising or AI model training.

Workspace data

The workspace stores imported game information, player names, jersey numbers, positions, and reviewed statistics. Authorized staff can search, view, and export these records. The public website contains an illustrative stat sheet; it does not publish the private database. Sample workspace records are fictional.

Services that process information

Vercel hosts the website. Supabase provides authentication and database storage. Google handles Google sign-in. Resend delivers requested sign-in links and account emails. These services process the information needed to provide their functions, including technical request and security logs. Site fonts are served by Google Fonts.

Vigil does not sell Google account information or use it for targeted advertising. Account information and workspace records are accessible to the operator for administration, support, and security. Player data is available only to authorized staff through the private workspace.

Cookies and retention

Vigil uses session cookies to keep you signed in. Signing out clears the browser session. Account records and imported statistics remain in the database until removed by the operator; signing out or disconnecting Google does not delete those records. Hosting, authentication, and email providers maintain their own operational logs and backups.

Your choices and requests

You can sign out at any time or remove Vigil's Google authorization in your Google Account settings. To request access, correction, or deletion of your Vigil account information or workspace records, contact eliotchamberlain10@gmail.com. Requests concerning team records are reviewed with the authorized program contact.

Scope and updates

This notice describes the current website and stats workspace. Providing game film for analysis is a separate workflow; the program must authorize the film and roster use before processing. This notice will be updated if the website's data handling changes.
